Working bee: Sat Oct 6, 2018

The garden is looking wonderful but there's lots of work to be done for summer. It's a great time to get seeds and seedlings in: tomatoes, sunflowers, artichoke, beetroots, cabbage, capsicum, carrots, chillies, eggplants, French beans, kohlrabi, leeks, lettuce, parsnip, potatoes, sweet corn and watermelon.
We'll also be moving compost around, tackling some weeding, fixing trellising, mulching and watering.
If you're interested in joining the garden, come along and see what we do and meet some friendly Redfern locals.

Date: Saturday, October 6
Time: 9-11am
Where: James Street Reserve Community Garden, corner James Street and Young Lane, Redfern
